FAMILY OFFERING
Your box for the year beginning this weekend should have reached you by now.  If you did not receive your box of envelopes, please contact the Parish Office and one will be provided.  We would like to think that each family would contribute to the upkeep of their Parish.  If you are not contributing at present we would welcome your support.

BENEMERENTI MEDAL
At our recent celebrations the Archbishop presented the Medal to three of our long serving parishioners.  Last Sunday afternoon I presented the Benemerenti Medal to Rory O’Connor in the nursing home where he now resides, together with family and friends.  It was a very for this happy occasion and I know our parishioners will join with me in congratulating him.  It is an award he richly deserves.       Fr John

March is the traditional month for receiving the Sacrament in St Agnes Parish.  We hope the children who will receive the Sacrament will understand the responsibility they are taking when the personally invite the Holy Spirit into their lives and promise to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ and a witness for Christ in their families and among their friends.  Let us pray for and remember our Confirmation children in this month.

The Pastoral Area of Bluebell & Inchicore: ministered by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, and serving the parishes of St Michael’s, Mary Immaculate and Our Lady of the Wayside, is establishing an Oblate Gospel Choir.  As part of this process it needs to recruit a suitable person for the following position: Musical Director for the Oblate Gospel Choir (Part time role – initially 10 to12 hours per week).

We have now finalised details of our Pilgrimage in May & thirty people have now booked. I think the Pilgrimage is very interesting and the detailed programme is now available at the Parish Office. If you are thinking of travelling with us book soon because during March we will be offering the remaining places to a wider group. The aim of the Bureau is to introduce people considering marriage to a suitable marriage partner. Over 800 marriages have taken place as a result of these introductions.  If you are searching for a suitable partner, why not consider applying?

This Lent why not take up reading the Gospel and deepen your knowledge of Jesus with  Fr. Michael Kelly. First meeting was held on Tuesday February 16th. @ 7.45 pm to 8.30pm, in the Parish Centre.
Meetings will continue every Tuesday during Lent finishing on Tuesday March 30th. Please bring your own Bible if you have one, or we will supply you with one.

The Gospel Of St. Luke . . . . .
Wondering how to mark Lent this year? Come and join a discussion/reflection on the gospel of Luke on the Mondays of Lent at Crumlin Parish Centre, 11am for one hour.  Copies of the newly printed edition of the Gospel of St.Luke, prepared by the Office of Evangelisation at Dublin diocese will be available.
